i4F names Thibault Lanchon CCO for EMEA commercial strategy
Flooring technology specialist i4F has appointed Thibault Lanchon to lead its commercial and sales activities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, drawing on his 15 years of international experience in global sourcing.

New Commercial Leadership for EMEA
i4F, a company specializing in flooring technology, announced yesterday the appointment of Thibault Lanchon as its new Chief Commercial Officer for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Lanchon joins the global management team with responsibility for all commercial and sales operations within this key region.
His role will focus on driving market penetration and expanding the reach of i4F's patented technologies across these diverse markets. The appointment is part of i4F's broader strategy to enhance its presence and capitalize on evolving market dynamics within the EMEA territory.
Extensive Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Background
Lanchon brings 15 years of international experience to i4F, covering areas such as commercial development, operations, sourcing, logistics, and supply chain management. Most recently, he served at USFloors, a division of Shaw Industries, where he oversaw global sourcing, logistics, and technical operations for the Coretec flooring brand.
His professional background includes working across Europe, the United States, and Asia, with a period of living and working in China. A French national, Lanchon holds a master’s degree from ESC Rennes School of Business and is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Strategic Growth in Evolving Markets
i4F founder and chief executive John Rietveldt stated that Lanchon's experience in the flooring industry and international supply chains will be crucial for the company. Rietveldt emphasized Lanchon's established relationships within the flooring sector and his international perspective gained from years in Europe, the US, and Asia.
The company sees significant growth opportunities in the EMEA region, driven by shifts in global supply chains, new regulatory frameworks, and changing market expectations. Lanchon's understanding of the entire supply chain and customer needs is expected to convert these trends into commercial advantages for i4F.
Implications for Asian Flooring Suppliers
For Asian manufacturers of flooring components, panels, or finished products, this appointment signals a strengthened focus on global supply chain efficiency within i4F's EMEA operations.
Thibault Lanchon's direct experience in global sourcing for a major brand like Coretec, combined with his background in Asia, suggests a CCO who understands the intricacies of sourcing from the region.
Asian suppliers looking to engage with i4F or expand their reach into EMEA markets should be prepared to present clear value propositions related to supply chain resilience, cost efficiency, and compliance with evolving European regulations.
Procurement teams in Asia specifying flooring for projects in EMEA may find a more streamlined and strategically managed supply chain from i4F.
