TIWF 2026 in Bangkok Expands 51%, Hosts 400 Brands
The three-day Thailand International Woodworking & Furniture Exhibition 2026 features over 400 brands from 19 countries, addressing industry demands for efficiency and sustainable production.

Exhibition Space Grows by Over Half
The Thailand International Woodworking & Furniture Exhibition 2026 (TIWF 2026) opened on 16 September at the IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre in Muang Thong Thani, Thailand. The three-day event, which concludes on 18 September, is hosted by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment in collaboration with IEC Messe and IMPACT Exhibition Management.
Now in its second edition, TIWF 2026 has expanded its exhibition space by 51% compared to its inaugural event in 2024. The show features over 400 brands, represented by 200 companies, from 19 countries.
Focus on Efficiency and New Technologies
The exhibition's growth reflects increasing industry pressure on woodworking and furniture manufacturers to enhance production efficiency, automation, digitalization, and resource utilization. Manufacturers are also seeking solutions for raw material traceability and reduced environmental impact.
TIWF 2026 showcases technologies and solutions across the entire woodworking and furniture value chain. These include wood-processing machinery, automation systems, materials, surface solutions, fittings, hardware, software, and factory management systems. KDT Machinery, a Guangzhou-based woodworking machinery manufacturer, is among the international exhibitors.
Promoting a Sustainable Wood Economy
A central theme of TIWF 2026 is the advancement of a sustainable wood economy. Darika Saranket, advisor to the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, stated that the woodworking industry plays an important role in both economic development and the transition to environmentally responsible growth.
She emphasized the promotion of sustainable use of plantation and economic timber, alongside responsible forest resource management.
The exhibition also hosts several industry forums and knowledge-sharing sessions, such as the Sustainability Masterclass Forum, Design Talk by Baan Lae Suan, and the AHEC Forum, covering topics like sustainable manufacturing, design, hardwood applications, and timber certification.
Implications for Asian Manufacturers and Specifiers
For procurement teams, architects, and designers sourcing for projects across Asia, TIWF 2026 offers direct access to new machinery, materials, and production techniques. The exhibition's focus on efficiency, automation, and sustainable wood use means attendees can evaluate suppliers and technologies that meet evolving project specifications and environmental standards.
Ludger Müller, managing director of IEC Messevertriebs, noted that the expansion of TIWF since 2024 shows demand for these solutions in the region.
Engaging with exhibitors from 19 countries, including platinum sponsor American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC), presents an opportunity to identify partners for higher-value product development and supply chain diversification in the ASEAN region.
