Guangzhou Fair Promotes in Tangerang
The CIFF Guangzhou Indonesia Promotion Conference took place on August 27 in Tangerang, Banten, bringing together more than 50 professionals from Indonesia's furniture, architecture, and interior design industries.
Senior government and industry officials attended, including Mr. Deden Muhammad FS, Director of Manufactured Products Export Development at the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia. Also present were Mrs Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo, Head of the Jakarta Provincial Office of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives and SMEs; Dr. Ir.
Dedy Rochimat, President of the Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft Industry Association (ASMINDO); and Mr Ji Pengpeng, representing CIFF Guangzhou.
Showcasing Business Opportunities
During the conference, CIFF Guangzhou presented its comprehensive industry platform, detailing its three main sub-shows and the year-round business matching services offered by its InterBiz Club.
Indonesian industry professionals were invited to engage with CIFF Guangzhou to identify design innovation, pursue cross-border business prospects, and develop the complementary strengths existing between the Chinese and Indonesian home furnishing sectors.
Direct Industry Engagement
Beyond the formal conference, the CIFF team conducted direct meetings with key Indonesian industry bodies. These included the Indonesian Furniture and Handicraft Industry Association (ASMINDO) and the Indonesian Furniture Industry and Handicraft Association (HIMKI). The team also engaged with leading home furnishing companies such as MEMORY, Cirebon Furniture, and VIVERE Group. These face-to-face discussions led to several preliminary cooperation opportunities between the parties involved.
Next Opportunity: CIFF Guangzhou in March 2027
For Indonesian and other Asian furniture and design professionals seeking to capitalize on these discussions and explore further partnerships, CIFF Guangzhou will open its doors again in March 2027. The event will be held in Pazhou, Guangzhou, offering a platform for the global furniture and design community to connect and collaborate.
This upcoming fair provides a concrete date and location for businesses to pursue the cross-border opportunities highlighted during the recent Indonesian promotion.
